The Graphics

Fun, cartoon animated designs characterise the look and feel in this slot. Your reels are set on a deep red background with traditional temples all lit up, and the odd bamboo plant thrown in for good measure. Meanwhile, the reels themselves are framed with gold and soothing stringed traditional Chinese music accompanies your spins. It’s brighter than the Treasure Heroes slot and that’s not something we say often!

The plucky Panda will jump into action showing off his Kung Fu moves whenever you land a winning combo with him in it.

Panda Pow Slot Game Play

Panda Pow slot has 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 paylines. That will be 5 more than Just For The Win’s Wonder Woods slot game then. We’d say it´s pretty much average in that regard.

Your symbols on the reels include; some goldfish, ingot coins tied together in a bundle, red and gold paper lanterns, blue folding fans and a Panda munching on  bamboo. The 9, 10, J, Q, & K playing cards make up the low value icons.

You won’t find any Scatter icons in Panda Pow, as our Kung-Fu Panda will act as both Wild and Bonus symbol here.

The panda wild icons replace all other symbols on the reels to create more winning combos, and if you land 5x or more of these not-so-cuddly creatures on the reels at the same time, you’ll be awarded with 20x Free Spins.

Stacked Wilds

Appearing stacked on reels 2, 3, and 4 during the base game, the wild icon will provide you with some decent winning combos – and make it a lot easier to trigger the Free Spins Bonus.

The Bonuses

Land 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, or 9x of the Panda Wilds anywhere on the reels will give you 5, 8, 12, 15, or up to 20 Free Spins respectively.  Next, you’ll be introduced to a new character on the reels – meet the Golden Panda. The Monkey Verdict

A game that comes with both stacked wilds and scatters is always going to be good, and I especially enjoyed having the Wild and Scatter icon rolled into one in the Panda Pow slot. Why? Well, it just makes setting off the Free Spins a whole lot easier!

Slot experts out there might prefer slots with higher volatility, but I’m more than happy to spin a few lucky rounds on this NextGen Gaming release and it’s a good place to start if you’re new to the world of slot games.
