The Graphics
Somebody has stolen the key to Wonderland – and us lucky players must be the ‘Agents of Hearts’ who try and retrieve it. Who has stolen it I’m not quite sure. But as long as there are wins to be had, I don’t mind, either…
The huge transparent reel grid floats mid-air with all manner of magical stuff in the background, including teapots that pour themselves, flying playing cards and 4 levitating islands.
It’s standard Wonderland stuff, and all very atmospheric.
Rabbit Hole Riches: Agents of Hearts Slot Gameplay
Rabbit Hole Riches: Agent of Hearts slot has 7 reels and a 7-7-5-5-5-7-7 grid setup. It’s a Cluster Pays mechanic, meaning you need to land 5x or more matching symbols to create a win. Place your bets from 0.20 coins per spin up to a maximum 100.00 coins per spin.
The premium icons are made up of Wonderland characters; the Mad Hatter, Caterpillar, the Dormouse and the Cheshire Cat, while at the other end of the pay table you have blue, purple, green and orange gemstones.
The fiery heart in glass is your Wild symbol and the Scatter symbol is a small gold key.
The Bonuses
Random Heart Wilds
On any non-winning spin, from 4- 7 of the Heart Wilds can be added to the grid. Heart Wilds can substitute for all symbols except the Keys.
Agent Feature Collection
At the left of the reels, there are 4 meters corresponding to the 4 premium symbol characters; Mad Hatter, Caterpillar, the Dormouse and the Cheshire Cat.
You collect these symbols when they form part of any win – if you hit 6 in a row, the meter fills and it automatically triggers one of 4 features.
Alternatively, the White Rabbit may pop up at random and instantly unlock one of these excellent features – that all rhyme! Eat your heart out Lewis Carroll…
The four bonus features are:
Cupcake Splat
Mr Dormouse will scuttle across the reels leaving a trail of exploding cupcakes behind him. These will either remove the symbol underneath them or turn them all into the same randomly selected icon.
Smokin’ Phat
The Caterpillar will blow on 1-3 trails of smoke on the reels diagonally lines. This will either remove the symbols beneath or turn them all into the same randomly selected icon.
Grinning Cat
The Cheshire Cat’s big purple grin will pop up above the reel grid, and remove icons underneath or turn them all into the same randomly selected icon.
The Mad Hat
From 6-9 of The Mad Hatter’s green top hats will land on the reels. The hats will now spin, removing any adjacent symbols and then transform the symbol underneath into a randomly selected icon.
Queen’s Heart Free Spins
At the top of the reels, you’ll see a golden heart with 3 keyholes. If you land 3x Keys on one spin you’ll get a Queen’s Heart Free Spin. During this turn, all 4 of the Agent Features will be activated.
But that’s not all, after all the action has subsided, you’ll be gifted a 3×2 Mega Wild to increase your win potential even further.
The Monkey Verdict
Agent of Hearts slot is another excellent game from Play’n GO. I loved the last two instalments of Rabbit Hole Riches and I do believe this could be the best yet!
The wealth of bonus features is excellent, and the variance not quite as scorching as some of Play’n GO games – which makes for some great gameplay.
