The Basics

The Graphics

The look and feel of this slot has a distinctly desert-island vibe. The backdrop to your reels is made up of acres of palm trees, the turquoise sea, a towering volcano and Tiki stone sculptures either side of the reels. Ways To Win and Avalanche Drops

Winning combos are made in Tahiti Gold by matching symbols left to right. After a win, the game will pay out your cashola before exploding the winning icons to make room for new symbols that drop down from above (with a crunch). Eye of Tiki Symbols
These icons can land on any spin, but land 2x of them at the same time and you’ll set off a cool feature. Wild Forge Icons

Mega Symbols
Your reel symbols can land in 4 different sizes, from standard 1×1, super 2×2, mega 3×3, all the way up to epic 4×4. And as you’d expect, these epic symbols are very useful.

Epic symbol wins are calculated by the number of 1×1 symbol spaces they take up, so the 4×4 icon is made up of 16 standard symbols, which could mean winning combination heaven!

Free Drops Bonus
Land 3x, 4x or 5x of the volcano bonus icons and you’ll trigger off the Free Drops bonus game ( as well as the volcano’s fiery eruption). You’ll now receive 10x, 15x or 20x free drops. The Free Drops can also be re-triggered indefinitely by hitting 3x more of the bonus icons!

The Monkey Verdict

I do like ELK Studio´s Gold Series, and Tahiti Gold slot is probably my favourite, thanks to the Eye Of Tiki feature. Is the game very different from its predecessor? No, not really. It comes with the same great graphics and some very similar features, so, it’s a more matter of where you choose to spin the reels; either in South America or the South Pacific. Good luck!
