Temple Of Light
Temple Of Light
The Basics
Are you in the mood for an ancient quest? Or to revel in the mystery of days gone by? Well then, according to Inspired Gaming, the Temple of Light slot will most certainly be your cup of tea.
This mythical game will bring you two Free Spins features that allow you to pick the level of volatility you want to play with, plus a side order of Wild Multipliers and Expanding Wilds.
All sounds very promising, doesn’t it?
Time to dive in…
The Graphics
We’re not exactly sure where this game is supposed to be set. There are no ankhs or pyramids so it’s not Egyptian (you will need to head to the Queen of Alexandria slot for that), and we can’t see any Aztec ruins so it is most definitely not a rainforest in central America. We do love a themed slot though. If you like pirates, try the Adventures of Doubloon Island slot, but I digress. Back to temples.
But, take a look at the statues that flank the reels (the ones holding the red and blue glowing orbs) and you’ll see that you’re entering the domain of some sacred and ancient civilisation. The background is a purple, red and pink ethereal cloud which just adds to mystery.
The reels are framed by aged bronze pillars and are made of what looks like tree trunks! Wait. By Jove, I’ve got it! The slot must be set in Angkor Wat…
I’d say the design from Inspired Gaming is pretty decent.
Temple of Light Slot Game Play
Temple of Light slot has five reels, three rows and twenty pay-lines. That’s twenty times as many as the Foxpot slot but then that is a jackpot game.
Place your bets from 0.20 up to a maximum bet of 50.00 per spin. The possible max win on offer here is 250,000 coins in whichever currency you might be playing with. I’m so international these days I can barely keep up… Now, where did I put my Doge coins?
Your reel icons are represented by four different coloured circles, in blue yellow, red and purple. Could they be coins? Or even emblems? Who knows. Plus a red-headed beauty brandishing a flaming torch, as the high value icons. Then the 10, J, Q, K & A playing cards will represent the lower-paying symbols.
The wild icon will land on all five reels, and replaces all other pay-table symbols to give you more winning combinations. The wild is also the most lucrative icon in the game, and will scoop you a reasonable 10x your bet if you get five on a pay-line.
The scatter symbol is the flaming icon that has ‘bonus’ written on it.
The Features
The two statues on either side of the reels will gift you some base game extras when the fancy takes them. This will be in the shape of wild modifiers – all thanks to their glowing orbs.
Multiplier Wilds
The left statue will randomly project a red laser across the reels – and when this occurs, any wilds that land on the next spin will have multipliers attached to them. The number of wilds you hit will decide what your multiplier:
– 1 wild equals a 2x multiplier
– 2 wilds equal a 3x multiplier
– 3 wilds equal a 4x multiplier
– 4 wilds equal a 5x multiplier
– 5 wilds equal a 10x multiplier
Expanding Wilds
If that doesn’t work for you my fine friends, the statue on the right will cast a blue beam randomly on the reels that will set off the Expanding Wild bonus.
Now, all wild symbols that land on the next spin will expand to cover their entire reels.
And if, by a spot of tremendous luck, both statues are set off simultaneously then the two features combine.
On the next spin, all wilds that land on the reels will expand and they will also have a multiplier of up to x10 attached to them.
This can give you some very nice base game wins indeed.
Free Spins
Hit 3x of bonus icons on reels 1, 3 and 5, and you’ll have to pick between two options. A more straightforward Free Spins game, or a very volatile one.
Bonus 1
Here you will be given twelve Free Spins with at least one Wild modifier feature on every spin. You can also re-trigger the feature if you hit another three scatter symbols.
Bonus 2
This rather more hairy number will randomly select between three and six spins for you. But both Wild features will be in play on every spin. Three more bonus icons will award you another three to six spins.

FAQs
How Many Bonus Features Are there in Temple of Light?
Once you have triggered the bonus with three bonus icons on reels 1, 3 and 5, you’ll have to choose between two free spins bonuses. Go high or low volatility.
The Monkey Verdict
Bravo! I absolutely loved the Wild Modifiers in the base game – they land frequently and can bump up your balance nicely.
And, as always, I’m rather partial to a choice of Free Spins – as I never quite know what mood I might be in.
So, for this fussy primate, Temple Of Light slot is a winner!
